Can someone from AVROTROS.NL please clarify what will happen on April 1st, 2016 to the currently advertising-free stream that so many people around the world appreciate and enjoy?One now hears periodic interruptions to the baroque programming to announce that as of April 1st the service will be ending. Listeners are directed to the avrotros.nl web site, where there doesn't seem to be any further information or any listing or an equivalent musical replacement.

What a pleasure not to have to listen to the babbling imbecility of the announcers that has become the station policy on WQXR, particularly announcing the name of the station before and after every piece. This is an excellent channel. A complete world of harmony. It is perfect for everyone who likes baroque and classic (in general) music. I listen whenever I can mainly through my smartphone.
