Broadcasting 19 hours a day from 05:00hrs to midnight, FlavaFM provides daily infotainment consisting 75% Music and 25% talk, predominantly in English although Bemba (a local language) is used to spice up the shows.
The station aims to develop the youth with emphasis on promoting good cultural values and play a pivotal role in the reconstruction of the Copperbelt, once the economic hub of Zambia.
The registered office, studio and transmitter are co located on the 3rd floor of Mukuba Pension House.
The official launch for the station was held on Friday, 7th March, 2008 on site at the studio. About 100 people that included corporate representatives attended the function.
