Forest Community Media is a not-for-profit company set up to further Community Media within the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire, Uk. In the past the company has run projects and events in various media, but for the last few years has concentrated on Community Radio. In 2005 the Forest Community Media was awarded the first ever full-time Community Radio Licence in the UK and broadcast for four years as Forest of Dean Radio. Sadly that project came to an end in December 2009.
