Inishowen Community Radio is a wholly community-owned and run radio station.
Our brief is to Inform, Educate and Entertain.
We are an inclusive organisation, committed to the development of our community and the promotion of Inishowen both within its borders and beyond, and won the Broadcast Media Award in the 2006 MAMAs (Media and Multicultural Awards) for our “China Times” programme.
As part of our broadcasting licence, ICRFM may broadcast up to 50% of its output as music.
Our presenters have a passion for the music they play ad provide an alternative to the increasingly restricted playlists of other stations to cater to a very broad range of musical taste from Classical, Blues, and Rock ‘n Roll to Traditional, Folk, and the latest Clubbing sounds.
