rebelcry
I haven't heard yall since my good ole blessed days of youth with my dad, brother, sister, and all my old friends in the Southern end of the Red River Valley! The old fashion dj I listened to at night pm KKAJ winter and spring of 1998 always played my requests. He had the gentle southern accent of the whippoorwill-the friendly a genuine Oakie/Texas nice guy I remember. One strange thing I miss about Texoma (not Texoma, TX) is the storms! Nowhere else in the world are they more intense than there. With the reckless eager of youth for severe thunderstorm warnings or tornado watches I listened to this station. Years later I wish country music was as good as it once was! Politics, pop, sex, booze, and Hallmart Greeting Card lovely lyrics are invasive species today in the music of country. Memories are worth their weight next to dreams! Nevertheless thank you for selecting many of the rare goods from music today and our classics as well. Memories are worth their weight next to dreams! God bless and go 95.7 Texoma forever!
