Guest I was a frequent listener and have been disappointed with the new program format. It is difficult for me to understand how you could deface and disgrace one of the last remanents of a truly classic era. The trash you play now is an insult. I may check my dial setting in a few months to see if some...
Feb. 19, 2013, 10:52 p.m. GMT
Guest I found an hour of the stream that I had recorded before the decapitation of all the great programming. I went on line hoping that "Variety" had returned, I guess it never will.
Jan. 31, 2013, 7:57 p.m. GMT
Guest I went camping last Sprig and had the pleasure of listening to the old classic country format on KRLI radio. Sorry to hear it is no more. Maybe we need to call an Arizona Ranger with a big iron on his hip! Blast the new format to the stone age ! later T Wright Lee's Summit MO.
Jan. 8, 2013, 7:30 p.m. GMT
Guest I have been away from the area for awhile. How could anyone in their right mind take away the good music and replace it with garbage? Goodbye KRLI; I'll tune to you no more.
Dec. 23, 2012, 12:45 a.m. GMT
Guest I like many others do not understand this desision to change the format of KRLI. What they have done is trash. Perhaps if we contacyed their sponsers. Perhaps if those living in the area of those sponsers of this new KRLI would tell their sponsers how they hate it and tell them they will ot buy thei...

Guest I guess the management of KRLI did't think there was enough bad music on the radio, so they added more. i moved away from the KRLI area and now I returned hoping to listen to a great station only to find it turned to trash.
Nov. 16, 2012, 2:41 a.m. GMT
Guest I agree wholeheartedly with all of the comments posted. I, too, miss the music of the old KRLI and will not tune in to the new format.
Nov. 7, 2012, 2:17 p.m. GMT
Guest I travel up highway 70 to KansasCity a lot. The last two weekends I tried to get what I thought was KRLI but kept getting music I didn't want to hear. Upon returning I went on line to see if I had the wrong number on my dial. From the comments I see you changed the format. Too bad as I will not ...
Oct. 29, 2012, 5:36 a.m. GMT
Guest Well, now I know that I am not crazy. I have been trying to tune in KRLI while on the road and could not find it. I was puzzled as to why some gosh awful other stuff was playing on 103.9. What were you thinking? You had a real little jewel of a station and now I wouldn't listen to it if it was the o...
Oct. 19, 2012, 7:11 p.m. GMT
Guest Okay, evidently that video I've been trying to share is blocked in the US.
Oct. 14, 2012, 7:13 p.m. GMT
Guest Behold: the decay of our society. This horrendous desecration of a once-great station is only the mercury in the barometer dropping and I think that's what the griping is about. It's the descent of our culture into modern pop culture hell, as it were. The only great station in this area has faded...
Oct. 8, 2012, 4:30 p.m. GMT
Guest Folks, all this griping is completely useless. We've been posting our complaints for months now and it seems no one is listening or even cares, so we should probably move on. I'm sure the KRLI management has.

Guest I really miss the old krli. I listened to it over the internet and when I would drive through the middle of MO. Still searching for a station to replace it. It was the best radio format that I have ever found and now it is the worst. With so many former listeners, I don't know how they can conti...
Sept. 21, 2012, 6:49 p.m. GMT
Guest I now listen to NPR radio. Too bad for KRLI..... I miss your old format!
Sept. 19, 2012, 8:02 p.m. GMT
Guest I was also a great fan of the old format. Being now 52 with 4 teenage children, I grew up on rhythm and blues but was in band and how I loved getting the education on the old music. Here's the kicker. My children were asking to listen to KRLI with me. So sorry to see it go. Nothing is out ther...

Guest I love KRLI,it taught me a lot about American music .It is sad that there is not even a day of the week that all the fan of KRLI could listen to it.Our heritage are those classic music let not stop cherish them.
Sept. 6, 2012, 5:11 p.m. GMT
Guest I realize a business decision has been made and will not be reversed. We live in Quincy, IL and constantly enjoy KRLI on line. Others in the area were also introduce to KRLI and are sad to lose the great format of musical entertainment we enjoyed. KRLI was our station when traveling to Kansas Cit...
Sept. 3, 2012, 3:06 p.m. GMT
Guest I have the solution to all of this, just pull the pin on the grenade, and get KRLI out of its misery.
Aug. 31, 2012, 4:50 p.m. GMT
Guest I'm in my late 30's, but I loved the 30s, 40's, 50's and 60's music they played. I listened to KRLI because it was profoundly unique. Now this station is just like every other pop music station.
Aug. 31, 2012, 2:30 p.m. GMT
Guest LOL!! They went from one of the most tasteful, well programmed stations known to one of the worst and most tasteless, just amazing. I can't imagine anyone making a business decision as ridiculous as this.
Aug. 31, 2012, 3:34 a.m. GMT
Guest What a dumb and ignorant decision to change format. We don't listen anymore.
Aug. 24, 2012, 6:49 p.m. GMT
Guest I stopped listening to KRLI the day it switched over to crap. I hope they loose allot of money. I know of businesses that played KRLI for clients. Not now!
Aug. 20, 2012, 12:02 p.m. GMT
Guest We have quit listening to the "new" KRLI. The old KRLI was on 24/7, but now KRLI is nothing but trash! This bright idea is not so bright, please bring back the easy listening.
Aug. 18, 2012, 1:17 p.m. GMT
Guest I'm not a senior citizen either but, I loved the quirky format of the old KRLI. Now it sounds like all the other stations. I'm still looking for a new station to listen to while in the car.
Aug. 17, 2012, 7:14 p.m. GMT
Guest The Program Director and KMZU is a fricking SELL OUT... Thats why this station has changed. HE IS A JERK AND SHOULD BE FIRED!!!!!
Aug. 16, 2012, 1:30 a.m. GMT
Guest Like many other posters said, this was the go-to station to relax, listen to the great music from the 30,40,50 and 60.l I love the big band era. I know many senior citizens who always had this station on. I am approaching senior citizen but have not reached that 60yr mark yet. When we travel to deer...
Aug. 15, 2012, 10:54 p.m. GMT
Guest Don't we have enough stations that play the music now blaring on KRLI??? What made you think this format was "better"?? It's not. The music you played on the old KRLI made it a destination station. It made me happy to hear tunes from my youth. I hope your advertisers are reading these comments...
Aug. 14, 2012, 1:44 a.m. GMT
Guest I'm only in my 30's and have listened to KRLI since I moved to Lexington 5 years ago. It was a station that played a variety of music that I remember my grandmother listening to, as well as songs when I was growing up. The programs were entertaining and wholesome...something you can't find ANYWHER...
Aug. 6, 2012, 12:39 a.m. GMT
Guest Sorry, but KAOL 101.3 FM is classic country, not the same as the old KRLI format so I think there is a reason to be upset. I'm glad Rich Hancock still has a job but the station is not the same and I would be very happy to see the old format come back.
July 30, 2012, 1:11 p.m. GMT
Guest So, why didn't you leave oldies on 103.9 and put the grenade on 101.3, instead of upseting all the long-time listeners. Mature "oldies" listeners don't like changing things for no apparent reason except to get them upset. I have enjoyed listening to Mike Carter for years and I'm sure he had better...
July 30, 2012, 5:06 a.m. GMT
Guest The oldies station is now 101.3, and the newer grenade has taken its place on 103.9. You still have the oldies station and a newer trendy option for the youth of mid Missouri. There is no reason to be so upset about the change when the station is still there all along.

July 19, 2012, 8:07 p.m. GMT
Guest Where oh where is my absolute favorite radio program. Just came to computer while unpacking from a move and wanted to have some fun music to listen to and sing to and you are gone. July 15, 2012, 2:32 a.m. GMT
Guest WHAT WERE YOU THINKING? Whoever came up with the "brilliant" idea to change the format to this new crap needs to be fired. I truly enjoyed the variety of great older songs we used to hear on KRLI - now it's just more of the same noise we hear everywhere else. FYI - I just turned 49 years old so don'...

July 13, 2012, 6:47 p.m. GMT
Guest What have you done??????? I come home from a vacation and when I turned on my favorite radio station but what do I get but something that I don't care for. I can turn any other station and get the same thing, if that is what I wanted that would be fine. BUT that is not what I wanted to hear, you...

Guest I wouldn't play this crap for my dog.
July 12, 2012, 1:53 p.m. GMT
Guest WHAT A LOSS. KRLI was my go-to station for years. It's heartbreaking that such a rare gem on the radio has now been relegated to the trash bin, in my opinion. What is the matter with you people anyway? It probably came down to profits as everything inevitably does, but what a sad commentary this...
July 12, 2012, 1:49 p.m. GMT
Guest I too am just sick that kRLI has changed its format to the sound of so many other stations playing crap. Perhaps their sponsers will hear this from customers and maybe do something. I don't know the radio business but i just cannot see how this format that is nothing different then so many other st...
July 10, 2012, 7:06 p.m. GMT
Guest So sorry to hear the change in format. I really enjoyed your programming and now I will no longer listen to KRLI online. Your station was unique but now is just more of the same you can get anywhere.
July 10, 2012, 12:11 p.m. GMT
Guest Unbelievable! What a sickening change in format. Why would anyone listen to your station any more! This crap is all over the airwaves!
July 9, 2012, 4:44 a.m. GMT
Guest You offered something beautiful, uplifting, entertaining & unique. I promoted you to others often. An extremely bad decision changed all that. If your advertising department wasnt generating enough income then they weren't approaching the right clients. The age group you originally appealed to cer...

Guest This new format is unacceptable to me. Good by KRLI, hello CD player.
July 8, 2012, 10:03 p.m. GMT
Guest What a big disappointment I had when I found you changed your music format. This crap can be heard anywhere. The old format was uniquely KRLI's and put the listener back in better days when music was beautiful. What a crying shame it is gone. I won't be listening to KRLI anymore.
July 7, 2012, 1:44 p.m. GMT
Guest My grandmother has been confined to bed for quite sometime. We would often play the radio on KRLI for her; she liked it. A couple of days ago, we turned on KRLI and it was different. She opened her eyes, got out of bed and slowly walked over to the radio and turned it off.
July 6, 2012, 2:23 p.m. GMT
Guest A grenade makes a lot of noise when it explodes. That's what your station sounds like now with the garbage you now play. You've lost me as a steady listener. RIP old KRLI! SAD..................
July 5, 2012, 8:51 p.m. GMT
Guest I miss your old format very much! It confuses me why such a bad business decision was made, and to replace it with such trach noise is also confusing. Go back to the real KRLI!!! Quality music such as KRLI (had) is impossible to find from radio these days.
July 5, 2012, 3:50 p.m. GMT
Guest What has happened. THIS IS AWFUL. PLEASE RECONSIDER AND GO BACK TO THE WAY YOU WERE......JOHN PHILLIP SOUSA TO GOD BLESS AMERICA, AL JOLSON, THE PLATTERS, ELVIS PRESLEY, BUCK OWENS ...YOU HAD THEM ALL. SAD AND TEARY OVER THIS. WHAT WERE YOU THINKING...OOPS NOT THINKING.
July 4, 2012, 6:52 p.m. GMT
Guest If you have changed or are another number we are sure sad about all this. It was such soothing music. Please go back to normal.....We are lost without you....please...please. please.
July 4, 2012, 6:45 p.m. GMT
Guest Wish we could get you on the car radio and at home.....not there anymore
July 4, 2012, 6:42 p.m. GMT
Guest Now that you have changed your format to be like 90% of the radio stations to choose from I have another reason to turn my radio OFF.
July 3, 2012, 5:15 a.m. GMT
Guest I was very disappointed to learn your format had changed. I will check back from time to time to see if it has switched back; otherwise you have lost a listener.
July 2, 2012, 7:50 p.m. GMT
Guest Hey, y'all at KRLI reading and paying attention to these posts? You sure blew up the radio scene with your "Grenade" but not in the way I think you anticipated. How many sponsors dumped you also? The 13 to 34 crowd is not the only people out here who have their favorite stations. Us old fogies proba...

July 1, 2012, 5:14 p.m. GMT
Guest You just lost another loyal listener of KRLI and Rich Hancock. The big Band, Cabaret singers, And movie scores was, and still is, the best MUSIC ever played on radio or vinyl. June 26, 2012, 4:25 p.m. GMT
Guest I can't believe they changed the music! I will quit listening to the radio. This was the only station you could hear 40s and 50s music. I tuned in everyday. No More. Too Bad. I feel like I've lost a best friend!
June 25, 2012, 3:23 p.m. GMT

Guest I'm saddened that your station changed their format of music. I do not like the music you have on now
June 25, 2012, 1:19 a.m. GMT
Guest I will remove KRLI from my radio presets in my three cars. The noise you are now playing is not music.
June 24, 2012, 9:43 p.m. GMT
Guest I'm only 18, but I loved the old music that used to play on KRLI, in fact it was my favorite station. I'm really disappointed that all that is played now is the same stuff that can be found on other stations, can you please change it back?
June 23, 2012, 3:14 a.m. GMT
Guest I have listened to KRLI for over ten years and words cannot express how disappointed I am in the changed format. You now play trash that isn't fit to listen to and I will never listen to KRLI again. Unless, of course, you bring back the old format!
June 22, 2012, 8:23 p.m. GMT
Guest I feel so bad you have changed your format. It was the talk at the gym today. Now longer can we hear good music. Oh well I can now play CD"s that I enjoy.
June 22, 2012, 4:25 p.m. GMT
Guest Very, Very disappointed in the changeover KRLI has made. I really enjoyed listening to your music before, but will change to another station now. Why?? Because you are no longer playing "music!"
June 22, 2012, 4:13 p.m. GMT
Guest I see I'm not the only one who's not happy about the format change. What the hell are you thinking? You had a unique format and now it's just more of the same stuff everyone else has. That's the end for me with KRLI.
June 22, 2012, 3:53 p.m. GMT
Guest They took one of the finest well programmed adult music radio stations in the country and trashed it. I hope they fall flat with this new tasteless garbage format. KRLI was one of the most unique quality stations around, not is just another airwaves polluter like so many other common FM stations
June 22, 2012, 6:35 a.m. GMT
Guest Why, why, why did you change the music on my favorite station? KRLI went from great music to garbage. I'm really upset. No more KRLI for me.
June 21, 2012, 8:05 p.m. GMT
Guest We recently moved to the area and was so so happy to find KRLI. We loved the old music that we heard growing up. It was upbeat and fun to listen to. Now, KRLI joins the thousands of other homogenized stations throughout the country, like we needed another rock station.. Well, we have turned our r...

Guest I agree. They have taken a special radio station and changed it to something with no personality and a format just like hundreds of others in Missouri. It is indeed a sad day. June 21, 2012, 3 p.m. GMT
Guest I am so stressed that KRLI has changed their programming to hard rock. I know many people of my age group loved the music that we grew up with. When music was "music".
