I'm sick of the numbers lady. Instead of talking about what your numbers mean, she talks negative politics on conservatives. But when the same number i applies to one of the two she talks to, oh then there good numbers. She is definitely against republicans, if they have a 9, oh they are so so bad, see more... same number 9 with the one she is talking to, oh she is so sweet and your good. I turn off the radio when she is on

If you want to be on radio, listening to the local announcers on KYOS is a good way to find out how NOT to announce! These poor souls don't have a clue as to which words in a script to STRESS! They stress the unimportnt words, and thus sound like children! The one poor goon is always saying "ay do see more... g," or "ay progtram." How does he keep ghis job. I could sit down with him and in ten minutes put him on the right path! He doesnt talk "to" his listeners, instead he talks "at" his listeners. When you're announcing on radio pretend you're looking at one person and talking directly to that person. This way you sound conversational, and not as though yiou're just coldly reading words!

I moved to Merced from L.A. 2 yrs. ago. I used to listen to Dennis Prager from 9am to noon on 870 KRLA AM but can't find him here. I've noticed that Rush Limbau is on in the same time slot on KYOS as well as another locally available station. I am hoping you might consider replacing Rush with Dennis see more... . Ibelieve it would be a welcomed change for your listeners! If you are not familiar with Dennis I;d like to suggest you check him out at his .com website, and/or Prager I believe you'll be glad you did ! Sincerely H.W.C

The guy who gives the weather etc on KYOS, Merced has not improved!! He still stresses every word he reads much like a 3 year old. Listen to him - he says "ay" for "a." "a" should, be, pronouned "uh." No professional radio announcer ever says "ay dog," or "ay cat." It's always "uh dog, or "uh cat see more... ." Never "thee dog," or "thee cat," but "thu dog," or "thu cat." This poor fool will never change! Boot him off the air, NOW!! Insist that he take an interpretive reading course at the college! Or go to the internet! It's all there!!

I agree with the other post. The guy who gives the weather, he sounds like a bottrom land farmer. Yes, he has a voice but that's it. If he would, take a broadcast interpretive reading course, he would learn that "a" is NEVER pronounced "ay!" "The" is never pronounced "thee" except before a vowel. see more... This guy stresses every word the same, just like a 3 year old would do. He really needs help! Someone, get him in a corner and tell him to stress only the important words and literally toss the rest away!! The word "and" is seldom stressed. Please someone help him, or get this yokel OFF THE AIR!!

Each time I listen to KYOS I'm shocked at the lack of professionalism. That local announcer who gives the weather etc. He doesn't have a clue as to which words to stress. For "a" he says "ay" which NEVER should be allowed!! He constantly stresses the little unimportant words, which literally sho see more... uld almost thrown away! Please someone give him some broadcast basics!!
