We lived on $50 - $60 a fortnight for two (dependant on bills owed) for 6 months or so. $15 - $20 per fortnight = meat, $20 vegs & groceries and any over = toothpaste, toilet paper, shampoo when possible. I found the most eco. meat purchase was roast (on special)....
