This station recently changed its format to play quality classic rock. For many years it used to play the typical oldies, which many people still love and miss, but which I listened to only occasionally when the morning patter at a competing station became too offensive and the news was too depressing. After a brief few weeks of all Beatles (which got old really fast) the station switched to this classic rock format, playing lesser know hits by the giants and should-have-been-giants of the rock world. I was hooked the day I heard Warren Zevon's Carmelita as I was driving into work, and completely sold with Jackson Brown's Won't You Stay Just a Little Bit Longer. I am spreading the word to my friends and I my car radio tuned to 106.1. Thank you for playing the best music of my generation! (And my grown kids like it too!)

Great format! The classic hits format is tired. It's a pleasure to listen to the forgotten artists and deep tracks. Now I don't have to take my own CD's when I drive to work.

Good luck at trying to please everyone. I have heard nothing I am passionate about since the Beatles left. Just a serioes of ho-humm songs. The squeeky wheel gets oiled. When you are happy, you don't comment, but the complainers are always out in full force when the don't like something. Bye, bye 106.1. It was good while it lasted..

Thank you for being BOLD enough to make this great change. I have friends in St. Louis that would love to have such a choice in radio format and I hope it will still be the same format when they visit in late May.

Only 1 comment likes the beatles. the other 2 comments praise variety. I loved your station when you played the oldies and I recommended your station to all my friend. I'm sick of the Beatles after 1 day.

106.1 - PLEASE don't change a thing! The Beatles is my favorite group, and I never dreamed Tallahassee would have an all-Beatles station! For many, many years I've either listened to CDs or nothing. There were no good stations - until now! My radio is ALWAYS on 106.1 I really like hearing the Beatles' solo songs; there have several so far I can't remember hearing. Keep it up!!!!!!

Thanks for the oldie station, FM 106.1. I use to drive in Tallahassee with no radio on. Now it is a pleasure to drive everyday while listening to the oldies. Great station!! db

Great music, I am listening for countless hours all day !
Nice mix of 50's 60's and 70's oldies, a lot of golden memories the whole day long. Who could ask for more ?
