See more in LAVA on Lancaster Ave. Brian Cronin, from Origivation and Mirror Image, who had a show on Volta was approached by Cindy on the idea of moving Volta to Old City into a part of their building a collaborative effort of supporting musicians/bands with a number of different media. The answer was positive, construction completed, new state-of-the-art broadcast equipment installed, and a recording studio was added to the mix. RadioVolta.org was rebranded to VoltaRadio.com and moved to it’s current location on Church St in Old City in February 2009. Additionally, Smashed Cat Recordings started in the same space at the same time. Smashed Cat Recordings is owned and operated by Jeff Wuollet, who is also the Chief Engineer for VoltaRadio.
