Nova Southeastern University's Radio X 88.5 FM is a unique, non-commercial, non profit radio station. Radio X 88.5FM is the only college radio station in Broward County with a transmission capacity of 3,000 watts, extending its reach to include Miami-Dade and Palm Bach counties. Radio X broadcasts live on 88.5FM ... See more and 24hours a day over the Internet on Live 365.com allowing listeners to hear WNSU programming worldwide! Radio X 88.5FM averages about 20,000 listeners per night in South Florida during its live broadcasts from 6 p.m. until 3 a.m. Seven days a week.Radio X promotes college radio programming with a wide variety of shows in a block format. A major supporter of local bands and the music scene, Radio X offers a local show that features interviews with South Florida up and coming musicians. In addition, to providing world, national, local, music, and sports news, Radio X also provides programming highlighting NSU news and sports. Radio X also provides original informational and entertainment programming aimed at its young adult market and public service announcements for the South Florida community. Both a communications entity and an educational tool, NSU's Radio X is establishing itself as a voice for NSU's and the surrounding communities, particularly on behalf of its youth and young adult. Radio X offers a package to businesses that allow them to sponsor specialty shows ranging in topics according to listener demographics. Custom packages for Specialty Show Sponorships are developed based on donor's preferences for the length of contract and shows. Announcements will be made at the beginning and end of each show, as well as when the DJ goes on air to speak. The announcements range from 15 to 30 seconds and can be pre- recorded or read live by an on air personality.
