Therefore, Saskatchewan citizens have an important role to play in their province's development: indeed, it is their democratic right to elect a new Legislative Assembly at least every five years. An understanding of parliament and how it works, both in terms of its role and processes, would make one of our most basic institutions more relevant to everybody.
