Being a member of the LGTBQ community and also a Subway Franchisee I was disturbed to hear the derogatory comments about Subway. My partner and I've been in the Subway system 34 years and yes, 2020 was a difficult year for Subway, as it was for more foodservice restaurants. We have a totally new see more... Management Team heading up the Corporate Franchisor arm of Subway and it's all good news. In July, we re starting a new "Refresh 1" program featuring new artisan breads, new upgraded proteins and a fresh advertising approach. Our sales so far in 2021 are far ahead of where they were prior to 2020. Yes, some stores "went under"...all brands seem to have that happen. We're going strong and expect a banner year this year and even higher projections in 2022. We've always been an inclusive brand. Hope you get your information from a reputable source. Thanks.
