The obnoxious female DJ in the previous story is "Kat" or "Cat"

was listening this AM, Wednesday May 23rd at about 8:15AM when the male DJ started to tell a story about a student who was growing his hair out (keeping it in a ponytail) for a girl who needed a "locks of love" type donation because she was having cancer treatment. Apparently the school authoritie
s either made him cut his hair or he gots suspended - but we didn't get to hear the entire story because the female DJ starts interupting and yelling "But its against the Rules - the RULES ARE THE RULES" - she effectively shut down the story, but was extremely rude and also came off as a bit hysterical and a heartless nitwit - perhaps she thought this was "funny" = or maybe she was just having a bad day - get over it honey!- Maybe you have some other female DJs who are more entertaining and have the kind of compassion and integrity that Mainers are known for. I didn't need to hear this person yelling about kids needing to follow the rules when I could have heard a heart warming story about a young man willing to face harsh consequences in order to help a fellow student with cancer who needed his help - please extend my criticism to this female DJ - I hope she never has to ask for help with a wig due to chemo - geesh!- kinda ruined my morning. I listen to The Bear daily. Tonight , Leah is talking about E-Harmony on her show. I joined Eharmony 21/2 years ago and met my husband Chris. He is a wonderful man, very loving and accepted my daughters (grown) as his own. We were married on September 17th, 2011. I can't imagine my life without

Just want to let you guys know that those of us in the Ellsworth,Lamoine, Bar Harbor area are having a hard time getting the Bear since you moved to 97.1. The last two days there have been extended blackout times when all we got was static. Help, we love your station and want to listen. Is there any
