UNMIL Mandate - Resolution 1885 The United Nations Mission in Liberia (UNMIL) was established by Security Council Resolution (SCR) 1509 (2003). Since then, several additional resolutions have been passed with the most recent being SCR 1885 which was adopted by the Security Council at its 6188th meeting on 15 September 2009.
