In 1989, he formed Wilkins Communications Network, Inc. with the acquisition of his first Christian radio station, KLNG, in Omaha, Nebraska. Today, Wilkins Communications Network, Inc. owns and operates eighteen Christian radio stations in major markets with a total population of over 20 million people. Through the building of trusted relationships with national ministries and local churches in these markets, the combined stations enjoy an audience of many thousands of listeners each day.
