My name is Marshall Dunbar and I live in Meriden, Ct. I am 56 years old and have done medium wave dx'ing since 1968. It's been a while since I actively looked for new bcb radio stations, but I have a general electric radio in my 2nd floor bathroom and when I tuned in 1590, (a frequency for years had see more... a dominant local station blocking most other stations), and found that station gone, I left it there over the past two weeks or so to see what was there. I work days and my "shower time" is right at sunset, so I bring my tape recorder in and listened for a signal to come forth. Yours came through this evening right at the 6p.m. hour, strong for a couple of minutes, then fading for a minute or two. I caught your i.d. and plea for help with the antenna costs and some wonderful gospel music. I am a Christian, whose new life in Christ began Dec. 2nd, 2001.Your station is number 624 for me. I found your station yesterday by mistake. Somehow my am button was on in my van. I enjoyed it because it is a staion that covers the true meaning of gospel. I am going to try to pull it on on my home radio. I tried on line but it didn't work.
