WKBC-FM (97.3 FM) is a radio station broadcasting a Hot Adult Contemporary format. Most of its programming comes from Dial Global's Hot AC (radio network).[1] Licensed to North Wilkesboro, North Carolina and owned by Wilkes Broadcasting Company, it features programing from Jones Radio Networks and AP Radio. Due to its tower being located 2,600 feet above the surrounding terrain, the station can be heard as far south as Charlotte (providing city-grade coverage of the city's northern suburbs) and as far east as Winston-Salem. It can also be heard clearly in parts of southwestern Virginia.
