Here's a list of the staff here at PowerTalk radio...here are the people that make it all happen! Cody Jennings-Cody is our quasi-computer expert, officially "production assistant", and one of the "board ops" for Sullivan South sports. You'll hear him talking with Tom and Joe during the Mac's Medicine Mart ... See more Sports Magazine show. Cody is a really big Green Bay Packers fan. This is being typed on January 31, so hopefully this time next week he'll be a happy camper after the Super Bowl! Dave Purin-He's our producer for Good Morning Tri-Cities. Dave helps Tom with moron stories and the word of the day, and he also brings news each morning! Follow him on Twitter at @radiodave72. Dave also doubles as the music director at our sister station, WHCB 91.5 FM. Dr. Kenneth Hill-He's our boss, also known as the General Manager. Most big decisions go through him, like whenever there's a programming change or that sort of thing. Dr. Hill is also known as one of the folks on the Tennessee Regulatory Authority in Nashville. Like Matthew (below), you'll hear him on the station occasionally updating people on various happenings around the station and in the state capitol. Matthew Hill-He is our Operations Manager. That means he makes sure we all do what we're supposed to do! Matthew also doubles as a Tennessee State Representative for the fine folks in Jonesborough and part of Johnson City, Tennessee. Matthew was once the host for Good Morning Tri-Cities, "back in the day," but now settles for just being on the show once in a while to update everyone on what is happening in Nashville. Mike Cox-Mike serves as meteorologist of PowerTalk radio, as well as "backing us up on the home front" on local high school and network sports broadcasts. He also does a lot of behind-the-scenes technical stuff, too! Mike's on Twitter, so check him out at @jimmyk97. It won't take you long to tell that he's really into weather and sports! Timothy Hill-Timothy provides sports broadcast support in the form of playing commercials (that's a board op) for Appalachian State games and also dabbles in a bit of engineering on the side, helping make the recorded things (like the weather forecasts) sound as good as possible. Tom Taylor-Lovingly known to certain staff as "moron," Tom is the host of Good Morning Tri-Cities. He also is the Voice of the Sullivan South Rebels, and good for providing humor around the office. He is supposed to be on Twitter @gmtc, but that seems to be one of Mike and Dave's responsibilities these days. There is a really nice picture of him there, though!

The sports coverage of the Carter versus Sullivan South game was so funny. If Sullivan South made a one yard carry they would hoop and holler. If Carter made a touch down they would be like "ho-hum"....they crossed the goal line. Almost had to infer they made a touchdown. Think they were more ex see more... cited about the blanket they were sharing than Carter touchdowns.
