WXXS 102.3/Littleton-Lancaster, under the format of morning DJ Mary Champlin, along with the general manager, and program director (Barry Lunderville) of New England Broadcasting LLC., look as if it is headed in the right direction to become the premier FM radio station of the Northern Woods. Champlin, if left to pursue her art, by bringing the morning hours format on par with the nightly, and weekend import formats to the station, may just turn the Northern Woods airways into real 21st century ‘premier radio station’. The presumed appearance is that the general manager would like to bring WXXS 102.3 into a format such as ’92.7 wfuv/NY/Fordham University’ – a unique radio style of upscale music, on the edge artists, alternative rock, pop, & folk genera, along with potential artist interviews, plus live in studio performance, into the Upper NH area. New Hampshire needs these types of cutting edge pioneers, as Ms. Champlin, and the N.E Broadcasting Corp.. One day, with a little antenna power boost, and a full WXXS broadcasting staff from NH, this will quite possibly will make WXXS 102.3 the premier and most listened to FM radio station in New England! All of the potential is there…..let Ms. Champlin do her thing - ‘ you go-girl’ - and help bring WXXS 102.3 into the 22nd century!
