WATM is a full service television station in Altoona, Johnstown and State College, Pennsylvania, broadcasting on local digital UHF channel 23 and on virtual channel 23. Founded in 1974 as WOPC, it is owned by Palm Television, L.P. WATM is affiliated with ABC (American Broadcasting Company), airing ABC's primetime shows
in the evening. In the morning, the station airs ABC's morning news and information program, with spots for local news and weather; in the afternoon, it airs ABC's soap operas; in the early evening, it shows ABC's national news broadcast and ABC 23 News. After primetime, it airs its own local newscasts, followed by ABC's late-night programming. WATM also airs local sports broadcasts. WOPC is also affiliated with the FOX Network, airing FOX's primetime shows in the evening, broadcasting on it's 23.2. In the morning, the station has its own morning news and information program, in the afternoon, it airs nationally syndicated talk shows and reality programs, in the early evening, it shows FOX reruns.
