It is an affiliate of Tr3s (MTV Tr3s), which is an American Spanish-language cable, satellite and over-the-air network with programming from the MTV España and MTV Latin America channels on lifestyle series, music videos, news documentaries about Latino culture, music and artists. KATA's channel is multiplexed, with four subchannels. 50.1 shows MTV tr3s; 50.2 airs Reino Unido, a Spanish-language Christian channel; 50.3 broadcasts AMG TV, a Christian inspirational channel, 50.4 offers GBC World News, a Christian view-point news channel. KATA was previously affiliated with America’s Voice from 1997 until 2005, Almavision, English version, from 2005 until 2006, and Multimedios Television from 2006 until 2007.
