KOPB-TV is a full service television station in Portland, Oregon, broadcasting on local digital VHF and virtual channel 10 and branded as OPB (Oregon Public Boardcasting). Founded in 1961 as KOAP-TV, it is owned by the Oregon Public Broadcasting and is the flagship for the network, changing its call sign
to KOPB-TV in 1989. It was the first member station of PBS (Public Broadcasting Service) in Oregon. In addition to its national PBS programming, KOPB airs OPB produced programs about Oregon public affairs, culture, history and education. KOPB's signal is multiplexed, with two subchannels. OPB and PBS programming airs on 10.1; on 10.2 is OPB Plus, with PBS mysteries, Britcoms, performing arts, investigative journalism, movies and music. Also, OPB broadcasts its OPB Radio's FM programming on the primary audio channel selection for a television, and OPB's "opbmusic" and KMHD Jazz Radio on OPB TV by using the SAP (Second Audio Program) selection for a television.
