KPVI is a full service television station in Pocatello and Idaho Falls, Idaho, broadcasting on local digital UHF channel 23. Founded in 1974, it is owned by Intermountain West Communications Company. KPVI is affiliated with NBC (National Broadcasting Company), airing NBC's primetime shows in the evening. In the morning, the ... See more station airs NBC's morning news and information program, with spots for local news and weather; in the afternoon, it airs NBC's soap operas; in the early evening, it shows NBC's national news broadcast and KPVI News 6. I used to be able to log into kpvi during newscasts and keep it up all day. Now, it only broadcasts the news and goes off. What's going on?
