KSFY is a full service television station broadcasting to city, state or area on local digital VHF channel 13. It is an affiliate of American Broadcasting Company. KSFY signed on air in 1960, with affiliation to NBC and was known as KSOO. the station was owned by South Dakota Broadcasting
Company until Forum Publishing Company bought it in 1970 and changed the call sign to the current KSFY. In 1982 KSFY switched to it's current ABC affiliation. Forum Publishing sold KSFY to Aflac in 1985, who in turn sold it to Retirement Systems of Alabama (part of what would become Raycom Media) in 1996. The Wicks Group of Companies bought KSFY and it's satellite stations in 2004, Its current owners Hoak Media Corporation purchased KSFY in 2006.
