KUJH-LP is a low-power television station in Lawrence, Kansas, broadcasting on local digital UHF channel 14 and local cable channel 31. Founded in 1995, it owned by the University of Kansas. KUJH-TV is operated by the students and faculty of the William Allen White School of Journalism and Mass Communications. The student-produced news airs at four times a day during the week during the fall and spring semesters. Students serve as reporters, photographers, producers and anchors, covering local events from a young person's perspective. To cover local sports, the station airs "Jayhawk Sports Talk" before each of the evening news broadcasts. It is also student produced and highlights athletics at the University of Kansas and issues related to collegiate athletics. During the rest of the broadcast air time, KUJH-TV airs programming from the Research Channel, which presents video programs from the world's leading research institutions.
