Subject: Toys for Tots in Assumption Parish On November 23, 2012, the grand opening of Christmas Land for Toys for Tots will take place in Assumption Parish. A caravan of vehicles will begin staging at 5pm at the Assumption High School parking lot and leave for Christmas Land in Paincourtville at see more... 5:30. Two search lights will beam out 15 miles to guide you to the Paincourtville, La Christmas Land for Toys for Tots. You will see 1.5 million Christmas lights dancing to twenty-one Christmas musical songs. Every seventh song will be a patriotic song on 90.1 FM radio station. This Christmas display is the largest done by one person with over 600 amps for LED lights on trains, farris wheels, carousels, and swings. When you arrive at Ray and Sue Daigle's house at 6151 Hwy 1 Paincourtville, La you can drive up the driveway where 3 acres of light displays are on from 6pm to 10pm every night from November 22 to January 3. Santa Claus will greet you with candy canes on Fridays and Saturdays from 7pm to 8pm until Dec 23, 2012. You are respectfully requested to bring a new toy or a check/cash for needy children made out to Toys for Tots. Ray and Sue want this Christmas to be special by collecting enough toys for tots that no child will be forgotten during Christmas. Rev. Phillip August, a retired Marine is the Parish coordinator for Toys for Tots and Ray Daigle who is hosting the event at his residence is the assistant coordinator.
