WHFT-TV is a full service television station in Miami, Florida broadcasting on local digital UHF channel 46 and virtual 45. See more Catholic and Messianic Jewish denominations. This station's digital signal carries five different TBN-run networks: On channel 45.1 is the main TBN network programming. On 45.2 is The Church Channel, with televised church services. Channel 45.3 carries JCTV with Christian music videos and other programs for ages 12-34. On 45.4, there is Enlace USA, consisting of Spanish-language religious programming. On 45.5 is Smile of a Child TV with children's programming. WHFT-TV started broadcasting in 1975 as WFCB-TV, a religious station owned by Florida Baptist Television, who put it up for sale in early 1976. World Harvest Television, a.k.a. LeSEA Broadcasting purchased the station in June 1976 and call letters were changed to the current WHFT-TV. LeSEA used their own religious programming, filling the rest of the schedule with televangelist programming like "The 700 Club" and general family entertainment of cartoons, sitcoms and dramas. In 1980, Trinity Broadcasting bought the station from LeSEA, and they dropped all the secular shows and the station switched to TBN programming. Lake Trinity Estates Adjacent to WHFT's studios is Lake Trinity Estates, a TBN-owned recreational vehicle park, with swimming, tennis, fishing, shuffleboard, Patanque, basketball, and nearby golfing are available for guests.
