Programing was a mix of NBC shows and local shows, local shows often being favored. WHO-TV was sold along with all the Palmer broadcast holdings in 1996 to The New York Times Company. The station was again sold in 2007 with all of NYT company's television stations to Oak Hill Capital Partners, who started Local TV LLC with it's newly acquired stations.
