WPXL-TV is a full service television station in New Orleans, Louisiana, broadcasting on local digital UHF channel 50 and virtual channel 49. The statio used the call sign WCCL from 1989 until 1998. The station was independent from 1989 until 1990, silent from 1990 until 1994, affiliated with HSN from 1994 until 1998, when it became Pax TV from 1998 until 2005, i Network from 2005 until 2007, and Ion Television from 2007 until the present.
