WPXM-TV is a full service television station in Miami, Florida , broadcasting on local digital UHF channel 35. Founded in 1992 as WMLB-TV, it owned by Ion Media Networks, Inc. WPXM's channel has three subchannels, all with ION programming. On 35.1 is ION's basic programming; On 35.2 is qubo, ION's children's television specialty channel, broadcasting in English and Spanish, and on 35.3 is ION Life, airing lifestyle programming during the day, and movies in the evening. The station was independent from 1992 until 1998, affiliated with inTV in 1998, Pax TV and i, which became Ion, from 1998 until 2007. WPXM used the call sign WMLB from 1992 until 1993, WDLP in 1993 and WCTD from 1993 until 1998.
