This station recently changed its format to play quality classic rock. For many years it used to play the typical oldies, which many people still love and miss, but which I listened to only occasionally when the morning patter at a competing station became too offensive and the news was too depressing. After a brief few weeks of all Beatles (which got old really fast) the station switched to this classic rock format, playing lesser know hits by the giants and should-have-been-giants of the rock world. I was hooked the day I heard Warren Zevon's Carmelita as I was driving into work, and completely sold with Jackson Brown's Won't You Stay Just a Little Bit Longer. I am spreading the word to my friends and I my car radio tuned to 106.1. Thank you for playing the best music of my generation! (And my grown kids like it too!)
