I hope someone will REALLY READ THIS. I have been listening to KBLX for so many yrs and yrs I can't get close to the 1st yr. Prior to KBLX, I grew up in Alameda, Oakland areas (lotta' Berk of course) because I am a teen of the 60's and therefore I LUV LUV LUV Patti LaBelle, along w/ALL male and/or see more... female artists, 99% of whom were ALL about SOUL. Ya know, there WAS "KDIA" and "KSOL" B4 KBLX popped up on the radar. What I really want to know is WHY WHY WHY I cannot get even close to winning a ticket although I've been on your list, Sept of 2000, for REAL. I've never won a single thing yet. I am now WELL over 60 but I swing to the radio at home ALWAYS tuned in to "102.9FM", Hello Nikki, and Victor, and Sterling and all of you. Yes, Steve Harvey, we know you in there too. I do miss Kevin badly and that ain't all. Would you folks PLEASE tell me what PHONE NUMBER I call to WIN a ticket (I go SOLO to every concert at Concord Pavilion and @ the Paramount in Oakland). Please,Please,Please READ THIS EMAIL, I am no young kid and NO ONE but NO ONE will EVER pay to go to these great performances so I do it SOLO, gotta admit 90% of time the venue was worth it,only a few dumb ass people who wanna get in yo face but I just do my best to smile and move away from NEGATIVE. What I want to know, JUST IN CASE I CAN WIN A TICKET to see "Hot Summer Nights" like I did last year in Concord, got my faded old ticket on my refrigerator w/a magnet. Oh yeh. Problem, I do not own a smart phone nor can I use one, but CAN YOU PLEASE GIVE ME THE CORRECT PHONE NUMBER and when to call. I have heard of a secret code for a couple months now, and I know there were 4 times a day that a person could win but, PLEASE, with KIND HEART, tell me the correct number to call in order to try to get in on the 8th or is it 9th (I can't see this pc I'm so tired, nor think right) just give me the right directions. Over the yrs I've changed my email due to having to buy a new one and still I am getting nowhere, I try to put in my proper password and what not and still nothing. Plz tell me what to do. My only phone now is a lousy old cell, (510) 9783631 and that is THE ONLY number I have. I GOTTA WIN AT LEAST ONCE and if I don't I won't see this great show. I'm already trippin on how I gone afford that $64.00 for MISS PATTI LABELLE next month, Lord have mercy, it don't stop. I love jazz music since 1984 when I was in the Bay Area. That time two good DJs are Clifford Brown Jr. and Keith Jenkins. Do you know where they are now? Sure like to get hold of them. ----Ruby
