The roots of Passion Radio can be traced back to 1995 when New Wave Broadcasting, a company Passion's founders were involved with, submitted an application to the Radio Authority to run an FM service for Brighton. Passion Radio's management team has over 60 years of commercial radio experience between them, and members of the team have worked in managerial level at stations as diverse as Atlantic 252, Juice FM, Fire 107.6, Aire Fm, Galaxy and Key 103.
