If you remember Star 107.9, you know that it was America's First 80's Station, and it existed from 1998 to 2001. See more n I was contacted by Jake Sommers, he expressed great enthusiasm about me keeping Star alive. I started asking Jake, a boat load of questions. Some he could answer, others he was forwarding to Jason Roberts. The end result of many of those questions is this detailed history that was provided by Jason Roberts. He takes us from before Star 107.9 existed, to its' final days. And now with out further rambling from me, here is the History of Star 107.9 as reported to me by it's first Program Director, Jason Roberts.
