OUR HISTORY In the first quarter of 2003, Fargo-Moorhead market research discovered an opportunity for a new radio station that played all the classics from the 60’s and 70’s. At the end of March, 106.9 transformed into “Beatles 106.9”, and for one week only played songs by The Beatles. Then during the start of April, the new Eagle 106.9 was unveiled. The station was launched using the Chris Elliott music and systems. Those systems and music---updated for 2008---are still the backbone of the station.
