I find it infuriating and laughable that Indians talk about how world class their technology is and that India is "one of the industrialized countries in the world". All empty talk - no action. :(However, it seems nobody there can their act together in terms of getting up and running the Akasawani programs I love listening to on the radio on my trips to India. This is 2014 and the powers that be insist on believing that people still prefer to access those Malayalam programs over the radio. WRONG! Even while in Kerala, I find the reception poor over AM, and at times, experience drift and static. How sweet it would be if anyone anywhere in the world could listen to "poonthenaruvi", "chalachithra gaanangal", etc. digitally at any time! Each time I arrive at this web site, it says it is "temporarily unavailable". "Temporary" is a big word! I would suggest you guys get your act together and make it available on Tune-In, for example, so that we can receive those great programs on our mobile phones or the computer. Let the professional streamers run it. Or else, your audience will continue to dwindle and leave you far behind! That will be a sad day because I love Akawasawani, Alapuzha and Thiruvanthapuram and wish them only the best.
