Brooklands Radio is dedicated to providing an accessible community radio service for the towns of Addlestone, Ashford, Byfleet, Chertsey, Cobham, Esher, Hersham, Molesey, New Haw, Shepperton, Staines, Sunbury, Walton-on-Thames, West Byfleet, Weybridge and Woking, in north Surrey. The area is not covered by local independent stations and is on the outer fringes for large London stations. The station provides a distinctive, eclectic alternative in both words and music and is committed to giving local communities a voice, to providing education and training for schools, colleges, and other bodies, supporting local voluntary organisations, and helping small local businesses offer the best possible services locally.
