While promoting a learning and leadership experience for students by research, public speaking and critical thinking. Chicago youth Radio WCYR provides broadcasting services to the John Spry Community School and worldwide via the online streaming 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The WCYR format is Top 40, offering specialized programming suitable to the youth of today, which includes sports, news/talk, rock, alternative, R&B, hip-hop, latin, world, and much more. We are committed to our community by airing programming that is responsive to the interest and needs of our youth.
