Anytime you get in my truck my radio is tuned to KBON 101.1 . Long live the Cajun music . When my older sister and I started school we couldn't speak English so the teacher sent a note to my Mom saying she had to teach us English .

It is so wonderful to have a radio station promoting our fine Louisiana artists. I am a big fan of most of these guys and gals and have been listening to them for years. I hope your listeners appreciate the Louisiana Proud Program.

Listening to KBON made Lake Arthur's Sailboat Regattas so authentic, flooding me with the very essence of my childhood. From French and Zydeco to road trip, feeling good, outlaw country music, KBON represents the roots of all Cajuns native to our beautiful Louisiana.

went to LaPoussiere in BreauBridge in late January and the friendly people there told us about KBON. We have enjoyed listening to the music especially on Sunday morning. Keep the Cajun tradition going! Roy

Love that new Leroy song. Please play some more. I would like to hear the whole CD. This is my first time tuning in to FM 101.1. Its been a while since I have listened to French Cajun music. Years ago I slept on the top bunk offshore and Belton Richard was on the bottom. I loved hearing him play the accordian.
