The math was simple on this one: low ratings+no advertisers+no listeners= $0. On the other hand, maybe now they're would be a chance to market "medical" gonja and pot collectives. Just a thought...

kptk was kind of a hit or miss sort of mess...usually just a mess. glad to see all that hate and name calling replaced by something (anything) else. not really a sports fan, but I can live with it.

not real thrilled to have another sports station, but at least it's not that same old blather from the left.

thought I wouldn't like having another sports station, but really impressed so far. KPTK grew a little stale after a while.

New format is a vast improvement! Used to listen to political talk but too polarized and vindictive to continue paying any attention to it anymore. Maloy and Hartman are the worst.

So far so good, like the new format. If KPTK had only had more local content and a little less hate maybe it would have survived. Guilty of most of the same sins they accuse the right of, just not introspective enough to figure it out. Way too hypocritical for my taste.

Guess the market for hate finally ran it's course, best of luck with the new format, I already like what I've heard!

KPTK had it's place, really enjoyed the more moderate and entertaining personalities but...the crazies certainly had too much air time towards the end (big ed, thom, mike, etc.). actually enjoyed all the infomercials...best part of the lineup!

Thank you! Used to listen to KPTH but they became so BORING after a while. I guess when you have nothing left to say, just repeat the same stuff again and again. Fun for a while but like most junk food, ultimately just empty calories.

Everybody complains about the loss of KPTH, yet towards the end they struggled to get an 8% in arbitron. Like Air America, they've gone the way of the Dodo. Guess evolution took care of them.
