SFGTV also displays municipal information and public service announcements with computer-generated text and graphic screens.

The objectives for the channel are:
Provide information about programs and services offered by city departments, agencies, boards, and commissions
Expand citizen's awareness of government and its decision making process
Enhance existing public information by using cable television as a public information tool
Provide programming of interest to the citizens that will inform, educate and enlighten, as well as encourage
participation in government services, activities and decision making.
