Festival Youth military-patriotic songs will be held in Ugra.
24 October in "cultural and leisure centre" Fakel "pyt-yakh city will host the 2nd District qualifying stage of the all-Russian Youth Festival of military-patriotic song" Demetrius Saturday.
The Festival is held in order to form a
patriotic and spiritual and moral values in youth, preserving the memory of the soldiers who died while defending the motherland, as well as the preservation of historical and cultural heritage of the Russian people.
Organizers of the Festival are the Department of culture of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug-yugra, KHANTY-MANSIYSK AUTONOMOUS OKRUG-yugra autonomous institution "Youth Development Center, Regional youth movement" Ugra Young Orthodox and Roman Catholic Diocese of Khanty-Mansiysk.
In yugra Festival is held from 2005 onwards, every year it is attended by around 150 people: Warriors, doprizyvnaâ youth, veterans of the wars in Afghanistan and Chechnya, members of military families, conscripted soldiers, cadets of military schools, students and spiritual institutions. Age of the participants of the Festival from 14 to 35 years.
The best of the participants represent our district in the Russian military-patriotic Festival "Demetrius Saturday" in Tyumen.
Take part in the Festival come representatives of different subjects of the Russian Federation: Tyumen region, Khanty-Mansiysk and Yamalo-Nenets autonomous okrugs, creative teams from Chelyabinsk, Orenburg, Kurgan, Perm, Leningrad oblast, Republic of Udmurtia. And every year the geography of the Festival is becoming wider and wider. For many years of its existence the Festival was attended by over 4000 contestants.
