Great website, memories of the my old local station in Nottingham. Listened from day 1 - 'The late great' John Peters opening the Station (Late 70's) was still at school! My late Dad worked at a solicitors office on Friar Lane (Central Nottm.) ajacent to Castle Gate (Trent Towers !!) Dad often got stickers etc. to bring home, the firm he worked for did Radio Trents legal work. Days out then were to Derbyshire, Passing Trents large tramsmitter at M1 Jct.26 (MW 301 mtres.) Holidays for our family then were on the North Norfolk Coast, In our old Vauxhall Viva Trents signal became available right to Kings Lynn! In later life used to see Breakfast Presenter John Peters DJ at the 'Mill' pub in central Nottingham. He was always up for a 'chat' at the yearly 'Nottingham Beer Festival' sadly not with us any more. Many Thanks Dave Swann North Nottm..... 07488345493
