Thank you for canceling the Limbaugh show. Conservatism is one thing and airing of different points of view is necessary to our democratic society. However, Limbaugh's constant hateful attacks on women is not political discourse and goes way beyond any norms of civility. Thank-you for dropping him.

Hope you people at WBEC realize that most of the people who are pleased you dropped Rush are from outside the area and don't listen to you anyway. I live in Pittsfield, and did listen to you till yesterday. Sorry to say you dropped Rush now I'm dropping you. I will e-mail as many of your advertisers see more... as possible and let them know my intentions. I'm already listening to Rush on WGY Albany. I will encourage my friends to do the same. Your loss is their gain. From the sound of the news reports, your staff was uneasy with some of Rush's opinions, maybe they would be more comfortable working at the Berkshire Liberal Eagle , they would fit right in. The problem with Rush's opinions is that the truth hurts and some of us just can't handle it.

Thank you for canceling Rush Limbaugh's show - it was the right thing to do. He's constantly been denigrating women throughout his career. He should have been dumped by everyone a long time ago. He's been nothing but a hate spewer for a long, long time.

So I guess you believe Bill Maher should be kicked off HBO. He's called Palin, Bachman, Barbabra Bush and Catholics about every derogatory term you can think of. Let me see how many of you calling for Rush to get the boot will call their cable operators and tell them to get rid of HBO. Of course non see more... e of you will because it's all politics. This poor Sandra Fluke - who is going to one of the most expensive schools in the world but needs us to pay for her contraception - means nothing to you.
