To anyone what might read the post that begins : "To Whom ever might read this" - it is my post. Thanks to my fat fingers, it was posted before it was finished. Pleasantly surprised just doesn't fit the bill - I've been away from those beautiful mountains for many years and hearing the gospel does this old warhorse's heart good. By the way - if anyone wants to connect to streaming TV and save a "LOT" of money compared to satellite services - here are my recommendations. Remember - I'm an engineer - not the greatest, just reasonably competent. 1) Chromecast is a $35.00 device (staples, radio shack, et. al) that can receive a signal from a "Wi-Fi" capable router. They'll need one 2) A "Wi-Fi" capable router is simply an IP network device that contains two transceivers - cabablel of 802.11n protocol. They'll need this, too. 3) Netflix - a provider that serves movies (about 17 - 20 thousand), TV (about "heaven only knows" number. There are others but my research indicates that Netfix is (according to my interpretation) is the best bang for the buck - about $8.00 per month. A caveat - if the price isn't $8.00 - don't blame me - I'm just the messenger. Again - I'm sorry for the accidental post. And if someone would actually want to hear the rest of the story - well, I'm sorry. God Bless
