It sounds to me like "BEENAROUNDAWHILE" (see below, 7/28/16) hasn't been around very long. You should actually listen to the station before commenting and making assumptions that just make you sound ignorant. Sure, they play the classic rock staples, especially during the mainstream time blocks. see more... But they play so, so, so much more!! Stuff you can't here anywhere else. And I love the background stories, etc. thanks to Michael Stanley, Bill Louis and Mr. Classic. I've learned so much from them, and in turn I've seriously impressed my wife, kids, and friends with my depth of knowledge of the music business and artists (usually based on something I heard ten minutes ago on-air). Try listening during the evening, the lunch hour, the Classic Cafe, and any time they are taking requests. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. If not, then you're just not into real music, in which case you can just go back to WMMS and they'll take care of you there. It's so sad when I think of what has happened to that FORMER trail-blazer and music giant. So sad. But thank God 'NCX was there to fill the void.

Same songs for the last 20 years. Like an tape loop, over and over. Grew up in Cleveland lied through the 60s 70s 80s 90s music scene. People, there's alot more to "classic" rock than so called hits by Queen, Aerosmith and Foreigner. Boring playlists are cheaper for corporate entities. ZZZZZZZZZ

This is absolutely the best radio station in the world! I grew up in Cleveland in the 60's and 70's, then moved to Tampa for 20 years and have now lived in Jacksonville, Florida for about 10 years. I was thrilled in 2009 to find NCX and realize I could stream it. I've listened to nothing else at wor see more... k (and sometimes home) for the last 6 years, and I was dumbfounded last week when I realized I could stream it through my phone and listen to it in my car through the AUX cable! Don't know why it took so long for that to dawn on me, but there's no better feeling than cruising around Jax and listening to NCX! Especially when it's sunny and warm, and I hear Bill Louis talking about 12 degrees with a -17 wind chill! That's not the best part, though. The best part is hearing a VARIETY of classic rock (not the same 10 songs played by every other classic rock station in the country), and especially the different versions and concert versions of songs I know and , better yet, songs I've never heard that are fantastic and apparently only available here! Keep up the good work!! You take me back to my childhood every day, and I can't thank you enough for that.

In 1978 my girlfriend and I went to see Bob Seger in cleveland. We bought tshirts, and we still have them and we wore them when he was just at the Q.The show was great,now my brother in law and his girlfriend want us to go see him in Columbus. Is there any way my wife and me could meet Seger? We hav see more... e been married 34 years and the shirts are 37 years old[and they still fit] kinda.
