So sorry you have decided to change the format. For many of us in the Rockford area this was the only real news source we had. The Rockford paper has disappointed this community for years now, and now it seems radio is is doing the same thing. Sad times for us. We feel like a bunch of mushrooms, kep see more... t in the dark and fed a bunch of s**t.

I always listened to the oldie show on Saturdays, after the radio shopper. They had a good selection of old music and would play anything you wanted to hear. It was only oldie show in area where you could hear 50s and60s music. Dean and his brother seemed to have a good time doing it. Now we gotta l see more... isten to same music we can hear on many other stations. All the staff were big corporate guys, except maybe Decoster. Corporate greed cost them their job in the end.

I enjoyed talk radio and the many topics that were inportant to rockford, now there is not a good way to let the leaders know what the public thinks. And thank GOD for serius XM radio.

So how is your stupid decision working for you. I know lots of people who used to listen and don't now and will never unless you reverse your stupid decision. Better yet, sell the station to someone who really cares what the listeners in this area want. I will not do business with anyone who adve see more... rtises with your station.

now I will listen to wptc all day, 92.5 fm. I rarely agreed with Doug, but still enjoyed listening to him. He did his best despite same callers day after day. Didn't care for youngblood at all, he was too one sided. Decoster was fine and I really liked Clark Howard, he kind of grew on you. I also mi see more... ssed Mayhew. Will miss all the contests and and local news.

Doug was a lot more gracious than you, The right way for you to have handled this mess. You could have told the people what was going to happen and gave Doug and Ken a change to say "goodbye". Doug should have had a retirement party. Get out of town we do not need jerks like you here and we don' see more... t want you here either. I pray every day the your company goes bankrupt and my prayers have a way of getting answered.
