See more a Spanish language station aimed at Mexican immigrants to the United States with sports, news and entertainment. KLEG is owned and operated by Dilip Viswanath. It has always been a Spanish language channel, first licensed in 1996 as K19BW on analog channel 19 with a Spanish general entertainment format, then in 1999, adding news from CBS TeleNoticias. By September 1999, K19BW was moved to channel 44 and rebranded K44FO. By November 2000, K44FO dropped the CBS Telenoticias with a transition to Telemundo Internacional as the flagship station of Luis de la Garza's TeleAmerica Spanish Network. By 2001, the station was rebranded to KLEG. In 2006, Una Vez Más Holdings, LLC acquired this station as KODF-LP's relay transmitter for Azteca América until KODF's analog shut-off in 2009, then KLEG continued to carry Azteca América. Upon acquiring KLDT, (now KAZD) Una Vex Mas Holdings moved to Azteca America affiliation to that station and KLEG went dark until acquired by KAZD in 2011. The station returned to the air in July 2011 multiplexed with Spanish language VMAS on 44.1, Indian comedy channel SAB on 44.2, an audio-only station playing south Asian music on 44.3 and a test pattern on 44.4.
