In the Fall of 2012 i was in Fairbanks, and we heard on the radio a plea from a woman searching for her dog named Carrot. Someone had informed her there was a dog on the side of the road (Skyline Ridge?), but when she got there, there was no dog. It was so heartbreaking, many of us who were in a wai see more... ting room prayed she'd find Carrot, alive. We've wondered all these years, and prayed that she was reunited to her beloved dog. Does anyone know or remember this? I believe she aired this bulletin over the air. I thought initially i heard it over KJNP's Tradio. Not sure. Thank you for any info. I do hope they are together.

This evevnt shows both the success, and failure, of gun control. First; the success because there was not ONE armed citizen to stop the maniac. And second; the failure of gun control, because it did'nt prevent the maniac from aquiring a gun, nor was there even ONE armed citizen to shoot him dead.

Grew up listening to KFAR and KFRB. Two big choices: Bill's Drive-In or A&W. Bill's was the all-time favorite. Statehood was a big day, and working the Midway booths during A-67 was a great first job. Can I say the running (and finishing in the prizes) the Equinox marathon out of the U of A is sti see more... ll fresh in my mind. Yes, flying junior co-pilot with my father in a DC-3 from FAI to NOM was outstanding. And thanks to Mr. Henderson at Main Jr. High and again at Lathrop High, I came out of vo-tech with all the skills needed to pursue a design and drafting career.
